100% original Steinberger GP2T TransTrem coming directly from its first owner.
A super rare example of the first bolt-on neck series of Steinberger guitars, of which only 1000 were made (in Newburgh, NY). The P-Series was a very short-lived product line and was abandoned very soon because Ned Steinberger couldn't keep the price without using lower quality hardware, which he didn't want to do.
This one is finished in the not-so-common Ferrari red colour... and equipped with the coveted TransTrem bridge, making it a truly unique guitar to cross paths with in Europe in 2024...
In addition to the incredible TransTrem, which allows you to transpose the tuning of your guitar AND to 'whammy' your playing in an incredibly smooth and stable way, other notable stock features of the guitar include a one-piece carbon fibre neck and a pair of passive EMG HZG humbuckers.
Comes with its original gigbag, nine sets of strings for Steinberger guitars (8x '9/42' and 1x '10-46') and a guitar stand that fits the shape of the guitar about right.
